Timeline Issues
June and July cannot add up correctly, no matter how you work it. Scott must have dated them. In "The Importance of Being Betty," it is dated definitely as June 1, the anniversary of the start of the War of 1812. Hilary says that she and Jeff haven't spoken in two weeks. But, "Two for the Price of One" is definitely dated as May 28 (per news accounts), and it's the day after Scott is hired and Jeff is "on his way" to London. There's no way June 1 is two weeks after May 27.

Furthermore, Jeff is meant to be gone for three weeks. However, by "Mr. and Mrs. Singer," they haven't spoken in four. "Nothing Up My Sleeve," the next episode, is definitely dated July 27, and the staff's concern implies that the events of "Mr. and Mrs. Singer" was recently - say, a week? That's actually two months after Jeff left. Pavla said Jeff would be back in 2-3 more weeks, but there are actually at least four between "Nothing Up My Sleeve" (definitely dated July 27) and "Happy Homecomings" (definitely dated September 1.) That's three months that Jeff has definitely been gone (May 28-September 1 are definitely dated.)

Per wardrobe changes, our timeline for August works perfectly, however.
